Amended the
soil
Dug a trough
Embedded the
seeds
Pre-emerged
Watered and fed
Mulched in hope
Now it’s up to
Heaven’s part
To provide what
I cannot –
Rays of sun
Nutrients of
earth
Showers of rain
For flowers of
blessing
