Class of interest to authors

Subject: Social Media for Business class at CCCC

Core Competency in Social Media, an 8-week, 24-hour class focused on using social media to achieve business results, is scheduled to start on September 16.

We'll meet in the computer lab of Building 1 at the Pittsboro Campus; Wednesday nights for three hours each evening, from 6-9 pm.

We'll cover the major platforms:  Linkedin, Facebook Business, Pinterest /Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+, and how they can be used for business, non-profits, and government agency benefit.

We'll also talk about how to use paid advertising on the platforms, and answer questions about other social media platforms along the way (Houzz for any residential trades, for example). Many people have used the time as a guided work session, with support for their questions and no ringing phones to get in the way of building complete profiles for their business or agency.

Call the Continuing Education office at 919/ 542-6495 to register and pay (roughly $150).
Call me if you have any questions about the class, at 919/545-0799.
Would love to have you in the class!
